- How are the mangoes packed?
The time taken for transport to the final destination of
delivery decides the stage of ripeness at which the
mango needs to be
packed. Each mango is then checked for any superficial
skin blemishes before they are packed. 12 of the choicest
fruit
are individually cushioned in foam nets and then gift packed
in an attractive and sturdy 3 or 5-ply carton. Finally,
each carton is strapped and sealed making it worthy
for travel over
long distances. Knowingly, we never take a chance.
Orders
- How do I place an order? Can I ask you to ship to someone
else ?
Just select the variety of premium mangoes you want to buy/gift
from the Home Page of mangoes-direct.com and follow the Order
Form. It's quite simple. Give your details, the receiver's
details and choose the payment option to successfully complete
the ordering process. You also have the facility to gift
to someone of your own choice in the same form.
- Can I cancel an order after it is submitted?
No you can't cancel an order once the payment process
is complete.
Delivery
- How is my order delivered?
Our Logistic partner DTDC is entrusted with the job of delivering
the boxes of premium mangoes across USA, UK and UAE. Since
we have been working with them for many years now, they
are well trained to cater to our special needs of door
delivering a perishable like fruit.
- Do you charge extra for shipping?
No. The price mentioned on the products of mangoes-direct.com
is all-inclusive.
- What's the proof of delivery?
Every confirmed order has an Order number. This
will be your unique number which will help
you to track your delivery
status online as well as serve as your reference
number should you need to get in touch with
our Customer Care Centre. Please
note that we cannot give hard copies as proof
of deliveries.
- What
if the receiver refuses to accept the delivery?
In very rare cases, we find people reluctant
to accept the box as a gift as a matter of
their personal policy. We therefore,
have no other option but to destroy the box
at the destination. We don't call back the
box,
as it serves no purpose. In all
such cases, you will be kept informed about
the delivery attempt but no refunds will
be given.
- What
if the receiver is away for a while?
In case the address of delivery is locked
on the first attempt, our couriers leave
a message
behind and also make a
second attempt within the next two days. They
also try and call
up the receiving party to know the suitable
time for delivery. If all attempts fail,
we instruct
them to destroy
the box.
In such cases we give you the proofs of
attempts made but no refunds will be given. Please
note that the delivery
of
the mango boxes will not be attempted on
Sundays or on any public holidays due to
unavailability
of courier service.
